A customer this week asked me to fit a couple of made to measure blinds. Neither blind fitted the recesses properly and when I asked how she measured them it turned out she had taken measurements at the bottom of the windows, rather than the top where the blind actually had to fit….unfortunately most windows will have a slight difference between top and bottom, and on older houses this can be significant….Always measure the top!
